Lawyer-led recovery of overdue loan accounts
Small overdue balances often go unchased because the legal cost outweighs them. Pandas LP brings a lawyer-signed Letter of Demand down to ₦10,000 per account, runs the follow-ups for you, and reports weekly on every file.
Lower cost, easier, faster
- Lower cost. We use technology for the routine administration around each file, so our lawyers’ time goes on legal judgement and the fee per account stays low.
- Easier. You share anonymised case IDs. Our lawyers review and sign each letter, and the follow-ups run for you.
- Faster. Every deadline is tracked, so Day 7 and Day 14 follow-ups go out on time without anyone chasing them.
How it works
- You share files. Anonymised case IDs and basic loan details in a spreadsheet.
- We check each file. Missing documents are flagged before anything is sent.
- A licensed practitioner signs. Each demand letter is reviewed and signed before it is served.
- Follow-ups run on time. Day 7 and Day 14, within the 14-day response period.
- You decide the next step. A weekly report on every file and a recommendation for each account. Court filing only with your written approval.

Start with a pilot of 10 to 20 files
You receive a file-gap review of every account, lawyer-signed demand letters, the Day 7 and Day 14 follow-ups, a weekly status report (sent, responded, paid, disputed, needs escalation) and a recommendation on each next step. At the end we review the results together and agree whether, and how, to continue.

How does the wallet work?
You top up a wallet once, with a minimum of ₦1,000,000. Each piece of work is deducted at its fixed fee only when it is done, with a statement line for every deduction and a low-balance alert before work pauses. Any unused balance stays in the wallet for other accounts and future work.
What do you need from us to start?
Anonymised case IDs to begin. For each file we agree to take on, we then need the loan agreement, the statement, the repayment history and any prior notices, a borrower address for service, and one point of contact on your team.
Does anything go to court without our approval?
No. Court filing, and any other material next step, happens only with your written approval.
How do you treat borrowers?
With respect. The process is designed to work within CBN consumer-protection rules on recovery contact, and data is kept to the minimum each file needs, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act. Every letter, follow-up and reply is logged.
Can you promise how many borrowers will pay?
No, and nobody honestly can. What we commit to is a documented, lawyer-led process on every file, delivered on time, with full reporting.
